Building Management System

Project/Module Overview:

This project required my group and I to design the Building Management System for our assigned building. The system includes HVAC systems such as Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fresh Air Fans (FAF), and Lighting Zones in the building. We all had to create a point list for each of our levels and select controllers and expansion models for the level. I was in charge of the chillers, chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, and cooling towers.

Learning Experience:

My groupmates and I planned for this project completion by following the project milestones excel sheet which was given to us. We also planned by setting some of the dates that would suit us so that we could pace ourselves. This really helped my groupmates and I to have a clear plan and that we would all be on track, which also allowed us to clear any doubts or mistakes along the way. From there, we were able to complete each task accordingly.
