Virtual Design and Facility Planning

Project Overview:

This project required my group and I to create a building. We decided to create a commercial office building, as well as to design and model the interior spaces for each level. We had to come up with the different types of facilities which was important to an office building. The facilities are:

1. Meeting Room

2. Recreation Room

3. Gym

4. Clinic

5. Multipurpose Court

6. Pantry

For my work, I was assigned to do the 2nd Level which was the pantry, gym and recreational room.

Learning Experience:

It was tough initially as this project was done in Year 1 Sem 2 (end 2020 to early 2021) and I had recently learned how to use Revit 2020. My ideas started to develop after I had done much research about office building layouts and what are the kinds of facilities office workers would like to have. I have learned a lot from this project as it taught me the foundations and basics of Revit 2020 which I would use very often in other modules and is a need for my other projects, intern and course.
