Introduction to Green Development Project

This subject introduces the concepts, development and trends in the design, systems and management of Green Building with a focus on Singapore.

Project Brief

This project required us to conduct a walk-though analysis (observation) of the green features in any Green Mark GoldPLUS or Platinum Non-residential building in Singapore. From this and using our research info, we later had to apply at least 4 significant strategies in order to improve a 10-storey office building from 'Certified' status to at least a 'GoldPLUS' status.

Skills and Learning Experiences

I learnt more about the different strategies that were implemented into the office building. Since this was my first project on Green Building, I gained new knowledge on what the Green Mark system is all about and how its being used here in Singapore.
